Emptying sent emails box?

The uses do not seem to have this option and sent mail just piles up?
Is there a fix for this?

at the moment there isnt, cause the sent box is actually the inbox for the user.
So for example if your ( admin ) send a message to Bob then the message you sent to him will be in your sentbox and in his inbox. So only Bob can delete his message in the inbox. Once he deletes his message from the inbox then it will be removed from your sentbox.

The reason its setup like this is to save space in the database, instead of saving 2 messages.
