Gallery Categories?

Ok, don't shoot me... More "things" I noticed :P
I'm just starting to get the site used, so now is when I notice
these types of things.

In the gallery, a user can select a category to put their images in, but there is no
way to get to those categories. Only categories showing are male, female and friends.
The search function doesn't even have a category drop down to maybe look at only
those categories.

How do we link to the gallery categories?
