Hi :)

Is it possible for users to place a custom header at the top of their page, and modify the general look of their profile using CSS? I noticed some fairly fancy pages at hotfoxonline.com, so I presume it's possible. Is it part of the "Allow HTML" option?

Also, is it possible to enable email verification by users when they signup?

Cheers,
Chris.

Hello :D

Yes, users can add css if the Allow HTML option is turned on.
There has been some recent patches added to the Updates section and will help
if you download and installed them first. Once thats done it will help
with the css/html issue.

The email verification should be turned on by default once a member signs up.
If you can test it out to signup as a new member and then check the Account Settings area the "Email Notifications" should be all checked.
Ill test it on the phpFoX demo site and see how it turns up.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the reply. I've installed the patch, and I have Allow HTML = 1, but I'm not sure if I'm missing something.. Where can the users enter the CSS? I notice that on hotfoxonline.com there is a CSS Editor (as well as other features), but I'm not seeing this.

Thanks!
Chris :)

oh yes, sorry forgot to say where to add it. :)
If you go into your Profile Settings you will then find a textarea that should say "About Yourself". That would be the best place to add the css in.
As css has been requested many times, there will be a new area added to the Settings section where if css is turned on will give the users the option to add css to another special textarea box. Until the update then users can use the "About Yourself" box.

Yeah hotfoxonline.com has had alot of their extra mods built for them to fit their site.

The next update should be out by the 15th, and that should have the extra css box option added in it. :D
