Admin Page Password Help

Hello,

When I want to goto the administrator panel it ask me to type in the password and I cant get in. I just installed phpfox and isnt the default password test to get into the panel? Is there anyway for me to change the password for later on? Thanks.

Hey There,

Yeah there are 2 admin passwords, one is for the account which is test but the one to enter at the admin panel page which is the main admin password is: pass

Also yes, you can change both your account password ( From the profile settings area ) and the main admin password ( from the admin panel ).

hi, I'm a new user of ur software (which, by the way, is KICKASS) but i was wondering, how do I change my username from "admin" to another username of my choice?

I managed to change the password, but not the username...

Just signup the username of your choice, go the the admin panel under browse member and set your user name to admin.
