Hope this works...
Look for /inc/template/new/profile_template.php
Just search for "SEND CRUSH" in that file and rename it to whatever you want.

I think I misunderstood your question. If you wanted to change the user's profile page to say STALK SOMEONE instead of SEND CRUSH, you would do that from the link I specified (/inc/template/new/profile_template.php).

If you want to change the whole verbage when someone's sending the crush, you can open up /member/mail/index.php and search for "crush" and you'll see where to change it from there.

That worked!!

I actually combined both your answers. In mail/index.php I had to be careful not to change the word crush in the coding. after that was done I had to replace
"Send Crush" on the /new/profle_template!

It toally rocks now!

Ok it looks like most of it is already done from my part...

What I simply can not find is the ...

When a user sends a crush, other member is receiving the email that he/she has got a crush...

The subject line of the Email message goes: "New Crush Alert"

I just need to change the Email subject line to "New Jam Session Invitation"

Which file is responsible for the subject line of the crush alert Emails?

Sup all. I was able to change my crush alerts to something different. Onlyh place im have a problem is when you login it still says you have a crush alert. Anyidea where i ahve to change this. Thanks

Hello all...

Im using version 1.07

Could somebody please tell me how to change the "New Crush Alert" subject line in the automatic mail that is sent. It's not in any php or tpl file so I have come to the conclusion that its in one of the .inc files (probably inc/function/func_mail.inc)...which I obviously cant modify.

Please help, it is becoming a real problem because I don't want to launch my site until it's changed.

How do I remove the "CRUSH" system entirely??? there should be an option to shut this off...

Well I went to the Admin Panel and couldnt find where to remove the Crush Feature so I thought of a way around it.
if you go to /inc/template/new/profile_index.tpl you can remove it from the profiles page the option to send crush
so look in that file and remove:
Content visible to registered users only.
and well that I think is a fix

Ok so i still get New Crush Alert in the subject line of my emails. How do we change this in 1.07 . i think its the .inc file but i have no clue how to edit that. Thanks

You can't edit the inc files because they are incrypted (at least most of them are)....and unlucky for us, the file that holds the subject line for crush alerts is in one of those encrypted files.

The phpfox staff told me that there will be a patch for this, I am still waiting for it though...

any updates on this as 1.08 has been released...Hoping to have this small issue resolves. Many of us have chnaged the SEND CRUSH to various other titles but it is quite useless unless the email states the same thing!

a simple patch/fix would do it I think :S

Yes, in version 1.08 you can edit then inc/language/english/main.php file to change the mail subjects...
